The deck is in full sun at the hottest hour, and on Wednesday and Thursday the east and northeast wind at 10 to 15 makes the run out of the harbor and across to the bar lumpy on a flat-bottomed tiki boat, with spray coming over the rail on the upwind side. The water is a little deeper for an afternoon swim from Thursday on, because the low moves to mid-afternoon and the tide is rising by the time you arrive.
